The Range Quiz is a career assessment built for generalists, people whose work crosses titles, functions, and industries. Unlike assessments that ask you to pick a direction, it works from what you've already built.
What you'll get
Eight career scenarios about how you work, move, and make sense of your path. In about five minutes you'll receive:
- Your closest generalist pattern: the underlying structure behind how you work across domains.
- Positioning language: clearer words for what you bring, for interviews, LinkedIn, and conversations with recruiters.
- Role matches: curated job listings that fit the way you actually work, beyond your most recent title.
Think of it as a snapshot of your pattern, accurate for now and open to change. It sharpens the roles we match you to and gives you words for what you bring.
Sound familiar?
The quiz is built for people who recognise themselves in these moments:
- "I know what I bring to the table. I just can't make it fit in a job title, a LinkedIn headline, or a 30-second answer."
- "I've been told to pick a lane. I've tried. The thing I'm best at doesn't live in one lane."
- "I get hired for one thing, then they discover I can do five. Somehow that's the thing that stalls my promotion."
- "My resume tells three different stories depending on which version I send. Every version leaves out the part that makes me valuable."
If any of those land, the quiz gives it a name.
How it works
Eight questions. Each one describes a real career scenario and asks how you'd actually approach it. There are no right answers. The scenarios cover how you move between domains, how you make sense of a new environment, and how you position your background when it doesn't fit a single narrative. The whole thing takes about five minutes.
